Morro Bay and Pismo Fall of 2015

This is our 3rd year coming down to this area in the fall.  It is so beautiful.  Very close to Paso Robles too.  Big wine growing country now.  Pinot Noir is their specialty.

Morro Bay is spectacular!  Great weather, nice walking trails, good food and views.  The "rock" is the centerpiece of the town.
We are also meeting up with some friends that have traveled out from North Carolina.  We met them in Oregon at an RV rally in 2004.  Originally from Hanford California, they are now living in Mooresville, North Carolina.  They have a brand new 2015 43 ft Dutch Star RV for us to see!
This time of year, the little town of Cambria decorates many of their businesses for Halloween.  It is a delightful little town so try to visit around the mid to end of October to enjoy the great weather and the decorations.

We left there and drove just a few miles south to Pismo Beach.  Some of our "Blender" friends are here for a week.  There is a great 2 mile walk from our campsite to downtown Pismo and the wharf.  This weekend there is a Clam Festival happening.
